Friday, August 16, 2019, the Mobile Area Association of REALTORS® (MAAR) and the Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR) held their annual joint membership meeting at The Country Club of Mobile. With over 100 members of both MAAR and WCR in attendance 26 new REALTORS® took the REALTOR® Oath and were officially sworn in as members of MAAR. This meeting is a collaborated opportunity for both organizations to update memberships on happenings in the organizations. MAAR 2019 President, Sam Winter led the meeting and welcomed WCR 2019 President, Brandy Alidor. The meeting continued with guest speaker Christine Hansen, National Association of REALTORS® Realtor Party Director 2019, & Century 21 Hansen Realty, Inc Broker owner. Hansen spoke about the importance of member involvement in the REALTOR® Party followed with a motivational message challenging the members to look past the repetitive day-to-day and not use the word “stress” for 60 days. New members who were sworn in: John Baxter, Kinsley Boylan, Liz Brooks, Abby Cooley, Ashley Duffy, Elizabeth Fillmore, Debra Jean Griffin, Jonathan Hughes, Bragan Jackson, Kristine Kitchen-Marshall, Blair Ladd, Kelly McGinley, Cheryl McMillian, Leanne Miller, Pamela Myrick, Juan Nieto, Clay Norris, Kyle Phillips, Crystal Robinson, Kristine Stafford, Cheryl Stovall, Charlie Switzer, Tracey Taylor, Rhonda Toifel, Shane Traylor, Phu Vuong and Whitney Woods.
